Currach Kombu & Currach Wakame Bundle
To celebrate Father’s Day we have created this special offer bundle comprising of our two unique seaweed-influenced single malt Irish whiskies. The same process is used to create both expressions, the only variance being the seaweed used to char the individual casks. The flavours from both products are starkly different yet share the same single malt DNA while having distinctive sweet, savoury and maritime qualities of their own.
Currach Single Malt Irish Whiskey – Atlantic Kombu Seaweed Cask:
Using the finest of Irish malted barley, our contemporary single malt whiskey is triple distilled before being aged in 1st fill American oak ex-bourbon barrels and is then finished in unique Atlantic Kombu seaweed charred virgin oak casks. It’s this perfect union of the Irish land and sea that creates a rich multi-layered whiskey with a delicate umami character.
Currach Single Malt Irish Whiskey – Atlantic Wakame Seaweed Cask:
Our second Currach Whiskey is finished in Atlantic Wakame seaweed charred virgin American oak casks. It is non-chill filtered, with no caramel colouring, and is bottled at 46% alc./vol. Wakame, a green seaweed varietal, is sustainably hand-harvested off the wild Atlantic coast of Co. Clare.
